What is a vertebral subluxation?

A Vertebral Subluxation is a misalignment of one or more of the 24 vertebra in the spinal column which causes alteration of nerve function, which lessens the body’s innate (inborn) ability to express its maximum health potential. A Vertebral Subluxation involves all of the following: (1) vertebra, (spinal bones), (2) muscles, (3) discs, (4) ligaments, (5) nerves and (6) the body parts supplied by the nerves.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM SUBLUXATED?

Signs of subluxation aren’t always obvious. Many people who come to our office do so because of a symptom. At Well Beings Chiropractic we address the whole individual, not the merely the symptoms. We realize that symptoms are what people listen to and they are usually what bring you to our office. However, we understand that symptoms are signals from the body that something is out of balance. Our goal is to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms. Only a small percentage of our nervous system is dedicated to feeling. Therefore how you feel is not necessarily the best indicator of your overall state of well being. How you are functioning is a better indicator. Only doctors of chiropractic are trained in the detection and correction of vertebral subluxations. If you think you are subluxated and would like to regain your health naturally, give us a call to schedule your initial appointment.
