Chiropractic and Acupuncture During Pregnancy

chiropregnancyHave you ever wondered how chiropractic and acupuncture can help your pregnancy?  Join Dr. Maura Fletcher of Well Beings Family Chiropractic and Jana Morian of Inspired Wellness Center for  an informative workshop at Baby + Co. in Wheat Ridge, CO on the benefits of chiropractic and acupuncture during pregnancy.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, June 25 from noon until 1pm at Baby + Co., 7777 W 38th Ave. #130, Wheat Ridge, 80033.  RSVP to Alison or call 303-238-6500.

Attendees will be treated to a light lunch while they learn.  Dr. Maura will discuss how to create balance for optimal fetal positioning, the role of the pelvis in positioning, and how chiropractic can help.  Jana will cover the ways acupuncture and acupressure can addresses issues such as anxiety, depression, sleep, energy levels and much more, during all stages of pregnancy.  Both experts will provide attendees with self-care tips they can do at home.

acu pregnancyDr. Maura, DC, CACCP, is a prenatal chiropractor and owner at Well Beings Chiropractic Family Health in north Lakewood. She provides care to pregnant women exclusively in their family wellness practice. She has post doctorate certification in the treatment of children and pregnant women from the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and is also Webster certified.

Jana Morian, MSOM, L.Ac, Dipl. Ac, is an acupuncture expert and owner of Inspired Wellness Center in Arvada. She customizes her treatment style depending on what each client needs to feel safe and comfortable.  She has special training and great success in working in the area of fertility and has a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine.

Baby + Co.  is a brand new birth center located in Wheat Ridge.  Maternity care is provided by their expert Certified Nurse Midwives, who provide support and clinical care from the first pre–natal appointment through birth. They have built their service entirely around women and their families with the goal of making pregnancy and childbirth as supported and celebrated as it should be.
